Dolphin 5100 Soft Reset - Warm Boot

1. Press the Reset button. The screen turns white and the decode and scan LED flashes blue for approximately 3 seconds.
2. When the reset is complete, the Desktop appears.


Dolphin 5100 Hard Reset - Cold Boot

1. Press and hold the Reset button and then press and release the Power button.
   The screen turns white and the decode and scan LED flashes red for approximately 3 seconds.
2. The terminal re-initializes, which re-installs all programs stored in \Honeywell\Autoinstall folder.

Dolphin 60S Factory Reset

1. Press and hold the Blue button and Green Call button to cold boot the Dolphin.
2. Upon cold boot, when the display returns, type: 1277.
3. A little menu will appear showing the reset options. Choose the top option by pressing the number < 1 > on the keypad.
4. A prompt will appear asking for confirmation. Press the ENTER key on the keypad to proceed or the ESC key to cancel.

1. Tap Start > Power Tools > Reboot > Reboot.
2. This will restart the device.

1. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
2. Select OK on the popup to shutdown the device.
3. Press and hold the Power button again to reboot the device.


Dolphin 6000 Factory Reset

1. Press the Power button for 3 seconds.
2. Select “OK” on the question: "This may cause information loss do you really want to shutdown?"
3. Press and keep pressing the VOLUME-UP and UP keys.
4. Press the Power button until a menu appears which will show the Clean Boot option.
5. Select DOWN on the question "Press DOWN to restore manufacturer default" to perform a factory reset.

2. Tap Hard Reset on the menu.
3. When the reset is complete, the Home screen displays.

Note: If the screen has stopped responding, press and hold the Power button
            for approximately 8 seconds until the terminal starts to re-boot.

Dolphin 6110 Factory Reset

1. Press the Power key for 5 seconds.
2. Select Hard Reset in the menu that appears.
3. When the white boot screen appears and the LED blinks, type the following keys in sequence:
   "1", "2", "7", "7". This will be displayed in a small box in the center of the screen.
4. The device will show a menu with 2 options. When the menu appears,
   press the ENT(Enter) key to select the Factory Reset option.
5. Select the ENT (Enter) key on the question to proceed. At this moment,
   the device will start the "Factory Mode" process.

1.Using the stylus, press the Reset button. The screen turns white and
  the decode/scan LED flashes blue for approximately 10 seconds.

1. On the 28-key keyboard, press and hold the Power button and then using the stylus, press Reset button.
   On the 52-key keyboard, press and hold the Blue and Z (Power) button and then using the stylus, press Reset button.
2. The screen turns white and the decode/scan LED flashes blue for approximately 18 seconds.

1. Press and hold the Power button until the Phone Options menu displays.
2. Touch Reboot.

Dolphin 70e Black Factory Reset

To Factory Default the 70E terminal running Windows Embedded Handheld:

1. Perform a Hard reset. Press and hold the Power button on the top of the device
   until the display gives power down options. Tap Hard Reset.
2. While the Dolphin is booting, press and hold the left and right scan keys
   until the Honeywell splash screen comes up with the Factory Reset box.
  
   Note: Factory reset box is only visible for 3 seconds.
  
3. Once the white Honeywell splash screen appears and the Factory Reset box is in the center of the screen,
   press the Green Phone key, then the Red Disconnect key, then the Home key.
4. As a last confirmation, press the front SCAN button, and the Factory Reset will be initiated.

To Factory Default the 70E terminal running Android:

1. Perform a Reboot. Press and hold the Power button on the top of the device
   until the display gives power down options. Tap Reboot.
2. While the Dolphin is booting, press and hold the left and right scan keys until
   the Honeywell splash screen comes up with a “Ready for hotkey” message at the bottom of the screen.
3. Once the white Honeywell splash screen appears and the “Ready for hotkey”
   message is in the bottom left corner of the screen, press the Search key
   and then the Volume Down button, and this will start the factory reset process.
  
   Note: These keys are pressed in sequence as they constitute the password to perform the Factory reset.

1. Press and hold the Control (CTRL) and the SHIFT (SFT) keys for approximately 10 seconds, then release.
2. Release the keys and the terminal resets.
   The red LED comes on and the green LED blinks for approximately 3 seconds.
3. The terminal will initialize and after a few seconds will display the Today screen.

1. Press and hold the Control (CTRL) and the Escape (ESC) keys for approximately 10 seconds.
2. Release the keys and the terminal resets.
   The red LED comes on and the green LED blinks for approximately 3 seconds.
3. When you turn on the terminal again, it will need to be reconfigured.

1. Press and hold the CTRL + ESC keys simultaneously for approximate 5 seconds.
   You may hear a clicking sound when you hold the keys down.
2. When the white Honeywell splash screen appears, enter code 1277 on the keyboard.
   For terminals with a 34-key Numeric (Calculator) Keyboard, enter code 7811 instead of 1277.
3. Select Perform Factory Reset from the menu, and then press ENT.
   The following message appears on the terminal screen:
   “All installed applications & customized settings will be deleted. Do you want to proceed?”
4. Press Y for yes, proceed with the Factory Reset. If you change your mind and do not want to proceed,
   press N for no and the terminal will launch the current image instead of a factory reset.

3. When the reset is complete, the Today screen displays.
